Big noise for a little frog

The Common Froglet (Peter Robertson/Wildlife Profiles)

The Common Froglet should, in fact, be called the Very Common Froglet. Though small, not much more than 1 cm long, it has quite a loud and distinctive call. This little frog is widespread throughout the Strathbogie Ranges and beyond and can be found in the smallest puddle, or the biggest dam.

It comes in different colours and patterns, so the best way to identify it is by its distinctive call. Have a listen….
