Males or females

‘A little bit of information can be a dangerous thing.’

After pronouncing earlier that I had only been finding male Crimson Tiger Moths, I’m now not at all sure that I can tell the difference between males and females. I’ve searched the many moth websites and blogs and several books and have yet to discover the definitive morphological difference between male and female Spilosoma curvata.

Here are seven different individual S. curvata (not including pics from earlier posts), all from the same locality and season. Which are males and which females? Can anyone help?
